FRINGE LAUNCH - DYLAN THOMAS SPRAY ART

Fantastic local spray paint master, Mark Hughes will be unveiling a piece commissioned for the Fringe.

An interpretation of one of Swansea’s most loved sons done in the most contemporary of artist mediums.

To celebrate the drinks and food will be served between 6pm and 7:30pm in The Uplands Tavern with some of the Fringe acts performing little 15 minute appetizers on stage.

Mark Hughes has been doing graffiti for over 23 years. He has always been prolific but only in his late twenties stopped doing illegal work and just did proper workshops and commissions, the latest beinga new ethnic youth project in the town. Born and bred in Swansea, Mark is most definitely a “son of Swansea”
which along with his outstanding talent makes him the ideal artist to provide a modern interpretation of another of Swansea’s SON.
